High Quality Polaspartic Floor Coating Service

Custom Flake Blends

Can I design my own 100% custom flake blend?
Yes. If none of the standard blends match your vision, you can create a fully custom flake blend using Torginol’s online Floor Design Visualizer at torginol.com/design. You can mix and match colors as you like; just be sure your chosen colors add up to 100%. Torginol can then provide hard samples based on the custom blend you design.

Once you’ve finalized your selection, send a clear photo of the label showing the FB item number so your order can be placed accurately. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for custom-color orders, and any leftover flakes from your project are yours to keep.

Why Our Flake Floors Stand Out

Why are 1" flakes better?

Why choose Quality Epoxy?

No deposit is required for standard jobs, and payment is due upon completion once the customer is happy.

Process, Preparation, and Requirements

How are concrete floors prepped?
All concrete is mechanically ground to open the pores and create a proper profile for long-term adhesion. This grinding step is essential even on brand-new slabs so the coating can penetrate and bond deeply. While high-end grinders and vacuums are used to control dust, a completely dust-free environment cannot be guaranteed.

What is your installation process?

Do you have job-site requirements?

Does brand-new concrete still need grinding?
Yes. Whether the concrete is 30 days old or 50 years old, mechanical grinding is required to open the pores and allow the coating to bite into the slab for a superior bond.

Benefits, Durability, and Use

Why coat a concrete floor at all?
A professionally coated floor elevates the appearance of your garage or business, protects the concrete from wear, stains, and deterioration, and delivers a glossy, showroom-style finish.

How durable are polyaspartic coatings compared to epoxy?
Polyaspartic systems generally offer greater abrasion resistance, stronger chemical resistance, and much better UV stability than typical epoxy systems. They do not yellow or oxidize with sunlight exposure and typically allow foot or vehicle traffic much sooner after installation than epoxy coatings.

What is “hot tire pickup”?
Hot tire pickup occurs when heated tires soften a thin or low-quality coating; as the tires cool and contract, they pull at the softened surface, causing the coating to lift or delaminate. This is common with thin DIY or low-solids kits (around 30% solids and about 3 mils thick) but not with professional-grade epoxy or polyaspartic systems that are generally 80% solids or higher and 10–30 mils thick.

Logistics, Warranty, and Other FAQs

What is your warranty?

When should I paint my garage walls?
Painting is best done after the floor is coated. Doing it beforehand risks scuffs, dust, or overspray on freshly painted walls and may require unnecessary touch-ups.

Does someone need to be present?
No. The process is designed to be nonintrusive. The team will temporarily disengage the garage door and leave it resting slightly open on nails so it does not touch the wet coating, allowing access as needed through all three steps.

What forms of payment are accepted?
Cash, checks, Zelle, and credit cards are accepted. All card payments incur a 3% transaction fee.

In what order should floors and cabinets be installed?

How long does installation take and when can I use the floor?
Most jobs are installed within 24 hours. The floor is ready for full use after a 72-hour cure period.

How much notice is needed to schedule?
Typical lead time is 4–7 days due to demand, but next-day availability is sometimes possible. Calling or texting is recommended to find the earliest opening.

What if my floor already has a coating or sealer?
The existing material will be ground off. The company does not coat over old or failing products and avoids “quick fix” approaches to ensure long-term performance.

What about oil stains?
Oil-stained areas are addressed during the surface-preparation process and are not a problem.

Do you have a minimum size?
There is no minimum square footage, but there is a minimum billing of 400 sq. ft. per visit. If separate garages are coated at different times, the minimum charge applies to each trip.
